Fabrication Intelligence is built to run with an AI agent beside three founders. The agent researches, drafts, checks and builds. A founder approves anything that is published, paid for or sent in their name.
1. What the agent does
- Finds and fills in product details from supplier pages, marking anything missing as “not stated”.
- Sets prices from supplier cost using one fixed rule, so every product is priced the same way.
- Builds and tests the website, then writes the notes about what changed.
- Drafts messages to suppliers and customers for a founder to read and send.
- Keeps the task list, customer feedback and leads tidy in Notion.
The how-to pages for the shop are in Docs. This page explains the people-and-AI side of the business.
2. What it is connected to
The agent uses connected tools through MCP, the Model Context Protocol. MCP is a standard way to give an AI a specific, limited set of actions in an app, such as “read this task list” or “create this discount code”. Each connection is something a founder switched on.
| Tool | Used for | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Notion | Tasks, customer feedback, leads, posts and outreach notes. | Connected |
| Shopify | Products, prices and discount codes in the store. | Connected |
| Stripe | Test payments while checkout is being checked. | Connected |
| Supabase | Accounts, requests and the website’s database. | Connected |
| GitHub | The website’s code and publishing. | Connected |
| Google Calendar | Sprint dates, deadlines and reminders. | Connected |
| Email inbox | The agent drafts replies for a founder to send. It does not send on its own. | Planned |
| Axiom | Service logs: page visits and website errors, with no personal details. | Planned |
| Supplier ordering | Passing a paid shop order to the supplier automatically. | Planned |
3. How work moves
- 1 ResearchThe agent gathers facts from public pages and the store.
- 2 DraftIt writes the listing, message or code change.
- 3 CheckAutomated tests run and the draft is read against its sources.
- 4 ApproveA founder reviews it. Nothing goes live without this step.
4. What people decide
- Messages to makers
- The agent drafts. A founder sends.
- Money
- Payments, bank details and anything that spends money are handled by a founder, never by the agent.
- Store changes
- Prices, codes and settings are changed only after a founder says yes.
- Accounts and passwords
- Sign-ins and verification are done by a person. The agent never types a password or a card number.
5. Recent work
Examples from our own task log in October 2026:
- Set the price of every variant in the shop from supplier cost in one run, then checked the numbers on the live product pages.
- Created the FOUNDING10 code after a founder approved it, and removed the express shipping option.
- Switched the FI Score off and rebuilt the shop, product and home pages for direct delivery, with automated tests for each change.
- Wrote the docs, support, bug report and legal pages you can read on this site.
6. Your data and the agent
The agent works on our business tools. It does not read your account password, and card details never reach us. It may see order details, such as your name and delivery address, when it helps a founder fix a problem with your order. The privacy notice says what we keep and for how long. Calendar entries, inbox contents and supplier conversations are private and are not shown on this site.
7. Limits
- AI can be wrong. That is why a person approves what goes live and why listings say “not stated” instead of guessing.
- Images made with AI are labelled as renders. They are illustrations, not photos of the product you will receive.
- The agent is not a lawyer or an adviser. Policies on this site are written in plain English. If your situation is unusual, ask us before you buy.
