Shop orders: inspected before dispatch
Products bought in our shop arrive from our suppliers at FI’s warehouse. We inspect and pack your order before forwarding it to the delivery address you enter at checkout.
Prices are all-inclusive in AUD. Delivery is A$11 per order, or free on orders of A$100 or more, and is shown at checkout before you pay.
Delivery includes supplier transit, warehouse inspection and onward shipping. We share the available timing and onward tracking for your order, and contact you about a material delay.
If a shop order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, or doesn’t arrive, email us with your order number. FI deals with the supplier for you; see section 6 and our returns policy. The warehouse journey below applies to all orders; quoted-order prices and delivery scope are confirmed in your quote.
1. Where we deliver
Warehouse orders are quoted for Australian delivery addresses that FI has confirmed it can service. Regional, remote, oversized or access-restricted deliveries need an individual check. An enquiry does not guarantee that a destination can be served.
Tell us about stairs, loading access, delivery appointments or other site requirements when requesting your quote. Collection from the warehouse is not offered unless specifically arranged with FI.
2. One inclusive AUD total
The approved total combines the supplier cost converted to AUD, FI's 10% source-price markup, and the agreed freight, inspection, duties, applicable taxes and payment-cost allowance. Shipping is included in that total for the address and delivery scope shown in your quote.
We confirm the amount before payment. If you ask to change the destination or delivery service, we explain any revised costs and obtain agreement before charging them. No supplier price should be read as a final delivered FI price.
3. Two delivery stages
- Supplier to FI. After verified payment and procurement approval, the supplier sends the agreed goods to our receiving warehouse.
- Warehouse inspection. We check the ordered product and finish, condition, completeness and packing. A failed check holds the order while the problem is resolved.
- FI to you. Once the full order passes inspection, we arrange the agreed onward delivery and record its tracking details.
Inspection reduces defect risk but cannot identify every hidden problem. Your rights for faulty or incorrectly described products still apply after inspection and delivery.
4. Timing & tracking
Supplier preparation, inbound freight, inspection and onward freight all contribute to the lead time. We provide the available estimate for your order rather than promising a fixed dispatch period for every product. Unless expressly agreed, dates are estimates.
We will contact you about a material delay and explain the available options. You can view recorded outbound tracking in My orders or contact FI using your order reference. A delay does not remove your rights to a remedy under applicable law.
5. Delivery details & changes
Check the recipient name, address, postcode and phone before paying. Contact us promptly about corrections; a dispatched shipment may not be redirectable. Any new charge for a requested change or re-delivery must be explained and agreed, and is subject to your legal rights.
Someone should be available to receive goods where the agreed carrier service requires it. Do not assume that large or heavy items include installation, lifting equipment or placement inside the property unless your quote says so.
6. Missing, damaged or incorrect goods
Email support@fabricationintelligence.com with your order reference and what happened. Photos of packaging and damage help if available. Keep the goods safe and avoid installing or using an item that appears unsafe.
FI will investigate the delivery and help arrange the remedy due. You are not required to resolve an FI order solely with the overseas supplier or carrier. Read our returns policy for faults, refunds and return shipping. There is no short reporting deadline here that overrides your consumer rights.
