Pick a product, check the finish, press Buy and pay through secure checkout. We receive and inspect your products at our warehouse before delivering them to your home. Delivery is A$11, or free over A$100; timing is confirmed for your order.
1. Start here
Fabrication Intelligence (FI) sells renovation hardware: cabinet handles, knobs, bathroom fittings and door hardware. We are a shop for homeowners, plumbers, builders, cabinet makers and renovators. Products are sourced to order through our supplier network. They arrive at our warehouse for inspection before we pack and forward them to your home. FI manages the order, tracking and support.
This guide covers how to use the website. For the rules behind an order, read the terms, shipping and returns pages. For a person, go to Support.
2. Find the right product
- Open the Shop. Products you can buy now are listed first. Categories with nothing in them are hidden.
- Choose a category. Handles, knobs, bathroom and doors.
- Filter by finish. Use the Black, Brass or Silver buttons. The address updates, so you can copy the link and send it to a builder or a partner (for example
shop.html?finish=brass). - Open a product. Check the photos, the description and the size and colour options before you buy. Sizes matter for handles: measure the hole spacing on your existing cabinets first.
Tip. Measure centre to centre between the screw holes, in millimetres. A handle sold as 128 mm needs holes 128 mm apart. We do not guess for you, so confirm the size on the product page before ordering.
3. Buy in four steps
- Choose your options. Pick the size, colour or finish on the product page.
- Press the Buy button. You go to a secure checkout. If a product has no Buy button, it is not for sale yet. You can ask about it on the contact page.
- Enter your delivery address and pay. The checkout shows delivery and any code before you pay. Your card details go to the payment provider, not to us.
- Watch your email. You get an order confirmation first. We arrange supplier delivery to our warehouse, inspect the products, then share onward delivery tracking.
The price on a product is in Australian dollars (AUD). Delivery is added at checkout unless your order is over A$100.
4. Codes and trade prices
FOUNDING10 gives new customers 10% off. It works for the first 20 orders, once per customer, until 31 October 2026. Type it into the discount box at checkout. One code per order.
Trade prices are for people who buy for a living. Apply on the trade page with your business name and ABN and we email you a trade code. The current offer is shown in the Pricing section of the home page.
If a code does not work, check the spelling, check the date, and check that the order is your first. Then see Something wrong?
5. Delivery and tracking
- Cost
- A$11 per order, free on orders of A$100 or more.
- Time
- Timing includes supplier transit, warehouse inspection and onward delivery. We confirm the available estimate for your order.
- Where from
- From the supplier to FI’s warehouse, where we inspect your products before sending them to you.
- Tracking
- We share tracking for onward delivery after warehouse inspection and dispatch.
Full detail is on the shipping page. If the parcel is late, damaged or wrong, email us with your order number and we deal with the supplier for you.
6. How prices are set
We show one price. It is what you pay for the item. The only extra at checkout is delivery on orders under A$100. We buy from our supplier and add our margin to the price you see. That margin is how FI makes money: there are no subscriptions and no sign-up fees.
Supplier costs change, so we review prices when they do. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
7. What the labels mean
We only state what we can show. Some labels you may see:
- SAMPLE
- An example listing. It is not for sale and has no Buy button.
- AI RENDER
- An illustration made from supplier images. It is not a photo of the product you will receive. Confirm the option you choose before buying.
- Supplier photo
- A photo from the supplier’s own listing, used with the owner’s approval.
- Not stated
- The supplier did not give us this detail. We do not fill gaps with guesses.
The FI Score and maker rankings are paused while we run the store. Older research pages stay online for reference but are not part of the buying journey.
8. Your account
You do not need an account to buy from the shop. An account is useful for quote requests, warehouse orders and writing a review.
- Sign up on the Log in page with your email and a password.
- Confirm your email if we ask you to.
- Use My account to see your requests and orders.
Forgot your password? Use the reset link on the Log in page. We never see your password and we will never ask you for it by email.
9. Reviews
Reviews come from people who bought and received a product. You can leave one from the reviews page. We publish good and bad reviews alike. Read the review policy for what is not allowed.
10. Something wrong?
| Problem | Try this |
|---|---|
| No Buy button | The product is not for sale yet or is a sample. Choose another product, or ask us on the contact page. |
| Code will not apply | Check spelling and dates. FOUNDING10 is for first orders only and ends on 31 October 2026. Email us your order details if it still fails. |
| Images do not load | Reload the page. If they still do not show, send us the page address through the bug report. |
| No confirmation email | Check spam and junk. The email comes from the store’s checkout provider. Then email us your name and the time of your order. |
| Parcel is late | Allow 3 weeks before worrying. After that, email your order number and we chase the supplier. |
| Arrived damaged, faulty or wrong | Email photos and your order number. See returns and refunds. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law apply. |
| The website is broken | Tell us with the bug report form. The more detail, the faster we fix it. |
11. Trade and big jobs
Buying for a whole house, a development or a fit-out? Build a project list from the shop and send it to us in one go, or use the contact form. We reply with a quote and the delivered cost to your address. Warehouse inspection before dispatch is part of the FI order journey and is explained on How it works.
12. For makers and suppliers
If you make hardware and want to sell to Australian customers, start on the partner page. We ask for your company details, product photos you have the right to share, and certificates where they exist. Approval is by review and does not publish a product automatically.
13. Questions people ask
Do you hold stock in Australia?
We source products to order. They pass through FI’s warehouse for inspection before onward delivery; this does not mean every product is held as ready-to-ship stock.
Is the price final?
The product price is final. Delivery of A$11 is added under A$100 and shown at checkout before you pay.
Can I return something I changed my mind about?
See the returns page. Because items ship from overseas once ordered, change-of-mind returns are limited. Faulty or wrongly described goods are always covered by your consumer rights.
Who do I contact if the parcel never arrives?
Us. Email your order number and we deal with the supplier. You do not need to contact the supplier yourself.
Is my card safe?
Card details are entered on the checkout provider’s own secure page. FI does not see or store them.
Do you use AI?
Yes, to help research products and draft listings and to run parts of the business. People approve what goes live. See AI at FI.
What do you do with my information?
Only what the privacy notice says. We do not sell it.
